"Let What We Do In Here Fill The Streets Out There"
"Let what we do in here fill the streets out there" That is one of our sayings for the Men of Vision and thats what it's all about. Taking the fire, the joy, and the love of Jesus Christ outside the Church. Jesus says in Matthew 28: 19-20. "Therefore go and make Disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." The Men of Vision is just the men of the church, looking forward to where God is taking us and working towards that vision. Nourishing it, to full form.
Disciple: One who ebraces and assists in spreading the teaching of another.
Announcements
2-10-2008 meeting went pretty well. We found a pretty good size building in Lawton for relatively cheap. Our plans are to get a group on men to take down there and look at the building.
The Men of Vision have been focusing on raising funds for the vision of NWORC which includes but is not limited to the New Building. The goal for 2008 is $10,000 and so far we have raised over $5000 since 2006. We have just recently started Pledge week for 2008 and are excited about what God is going to do this year. We are still collecting cans, but remember it's not just cans we want, it's ALUMINUM. So if you have any laying around you can bring it to our drop off points. If you do have any questions regarding the drop off points feel free to call Charlie Newman or Mike Schroeder. We are also still doing the Brick Fundraiser. Gold bricks are $50 and red bricks are $5. This fundraiser will continue until all the bricks are sold.

Schedule of Upcoming Events. We have discussed and auction this year, a booth set up during the snake hunt, and a cookie dough fundraiser to try and get the kids and youth involved.

Future Activities
We are in the middle of discussing future events for the MOV. We do plan on having the retreat again in July. Last year was a fun filled time in the Lord. (Bring sun screen :) We expect great things this year. Praise God!!
